Broadcast Music, Inc. celebrated Keith Urban’s sixteenth #1 single “We Were Us” at Nashville’s Music City Tippler restaurant on August 25, 2014. The song, which is a duet with Miranda Lambert, was co-written by BMI songwriter Nicolle Galyon, along with songwriters Jon Nite and Jimmy Robbins. This was the first #1 single for Galyon, who has since scored a second #1 hit with Miranda Lambert’s “Automatic” and recently received Music Row’s “Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year” award.
