BMI composer and artistic director of the Musicians Institute Film Music Intensive, Craig Richey, recently invited esteemed guests to serve as advisors on his panel exploring the creative collaboration between film composer and director, which was held at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles on June 22. Richey, who moderated the panel, was joined by BMI Vice President, Film/TV Relations, Doreen Ringer-Ross, founding agent at Fortress Talent Management, Robert Messinger, BMI composer and former chair of the film scoring department at Berklee College of Music George S. Clinton and BMI composer and director of the Sundance Film Music Program’s composer lab, Peter Golub.
