BMI Composer Rick Marvin Speaks at SCL Seminar

Award-winning composer Rick Marvin, whose work includes the NBC series Grimm, as well as National Geographic’s Emmy-winning documentary series Years of Living Dangerously, was the guest speaker at the Society of Composers & Lyricists seminar held March 23 at the American Film Institute/Mark Goodson Theater in LA. The discussion about Marvin’s work also included a focus on his use of the award-winning, cross-platform digital audio workstation Digital Performer 9, as well as other MOTU technologies. The presentation was moderated by Matt LaPoint from MOTU, who provided a guided tour of the innovative products.
