BMI Congratulates 2015 Golden Globe Nominees

Award season nomination announcements continue to honor Broadcast Music, Inc. songwriters and composers, who are among the impressive group of nominees for the 2015 Golden Globes. The winners will be announced during a televised broadcast January 11, 2015, on NBC, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. BMI writers and composers were nominated in two prestigious categories, Best Original Score and Best Original Song. 

Seven-time nominee Alexandre Desplat is honored for The Imitation Game; the score for Gone Girl, co-written by Atticus Ross, is also nominated; and Antonio Sanchez gets a nod for Birdman. John Legend and Common are up for Best Original Song for “Glory” from Selma, while Will Gluck is nominated for his work on the song “Opportunity” from the new adaptation of Annie, which he also directed.
