BMI Congratulates its 2015 Tony Nominees

Broadcast Music, Inc. songwriters and composers were honored with an astounding three of the four 2015 Tony nominations for Best Original Score Written for Theatre. Sting’s The Last Ship, Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick’s Something Rotten! and Kander & Ebb’s The Visit are all up for the prestigious award. BMI writers and composers were also nominated in other categories, including Michael Cerveris for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his work in Fun Home and Karey Kirkpatrick for Best Book of a Musical for Something Rotten! In addition, BMI composers John Clancy and Larry Hochman are among the nominees for Best Orchestrations for Fun Home and Something Rotten!, respectively.

The winners will be announced Sunday, June 7, at 8 p.m. during a televised ceremony; fans at home can tune in to CBS for the big reveals. Congratulations to all of our nominees!
