BMI’s Assistant Vice President of Film/TV Relations, Ray Yee, joined BMI composer Nathan Barr, music supervisor Jen Ross and music editor Lisa Jaime in a panel discussion entitled “The State of the Industry – Music for Media” at Emerson College in LA on Tuesday April 19th, 2016. The roundtable conversation explored what’s currently happening in creating music for film and TV, the future of the industry and changing state of business affairs, as well as the budgetary, legal and contractual obligations of using music in media.
