Broadcast Music, Inc. hosted a private screening of BMI songwriter Natalie Hemby’s documentary Puxico, named after her grandparents’ hometown in Missouri. Created with Ryan Silver and Scott Murphy, the film captures the excitement of the small town’s annual Homecoming event, with scenes chronicling pageants, high school class reunions, square dancing and parades. Hemby, who has had two recent #1s, co-wrote ten brand new songs for the film with other notable BMI writers, including Trent Dabbs, Kelly Archer, Cassandra and Jonathan Lawson of The Railers and Jon Randall Stewart.
