Legendary BMI songwriter Even Stevens made the trip out West recently (6/22/14) to perform at the Montana Broadcasters Association Annual Convention held at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Kalispell. The GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, who has amassed 53 BMI awards in his illustrious career, told the stories behind the songs and performed some of his biggest hits, including Dr. Hook’s multi-platinum international smash “When You’re in Love With a Beautiful Woman,” as well as Eddie Rabbitt’s “Drivin’ My Life Away” and “I Love a Rainy Night.”
