BMI’s Delia Orjuela will moderate an anticipated panel during the 2009 installment of the Monitor Latino Convention at Pacific Palms Conference Resort in Los Angeles. Slated for August 24 from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m., the panel—entitled “Demos-Demolition: Ideas y Propuestas”—will feature insight from industry insiders Nir Seroussi, Eddie Leon, Alberto “Chencho” Garcia, Alejandro Garza, Mario Pupparo and Franco Giordani.
Held August 24-26, the conference offers panels designed to candidly address current issues facing Latin radio and the industry at large; exclusive networking opportunities; and live showcases highlighting Latin music’s must-hear up-and-comers. The three-day event will culminate with the annual monitorLATINO Excellence Awards on Wednesday, August 26.
