BMI Resoundingly Supports LA’s Echo Society Performance of ‘Veils’

Posted in News on January 20, 2016

In November, the Los Angeles-based collective, The Echo Society, presented its fourth concert featuring a 9-piece chamber ensemble performing their original work Veils. The collective is comprised of like-minded composers, musicians, and artists, including BMI composers Rob Simonsen, Benjamin Wynn (Deru) and Jeremy Zuckerman, along with fellow composers who together share new sonic and visual art with their local communities. Held at the MAMA Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, the concert incorporated traditional instrumentation mixed with electronics and stunning visual design. BMI’s Assistant Vice President Ray Yee attended the exquisitely innovative performance in support of the collective.
