BMI proudly presented its annual roundtable discussion entitled “Music in Film, TV and New Media ’15” on Saturday, August 15, at the Don’t Knock the Rock Film & Music Festival, held at Cinefamiliy in Los Angeles. Moderated by BMI songwriter and entertainer Michael Des Barres, the discussion focused on how to get your music heard, securing song placements, creating music for film/TV, sync licenses and the changing business of music in film, TV, and new media.  Panelists included BMI’s Vice President, Film/TV, Doreen Ringer Ross, director Allison Anders, music supervisor Tiffany Anders, director J. Davis (Director), composer Heather McIntosh, actor, writer, director and producer Joshua Leonard.
