BMI’s Acoustic Lounge Puts The Spotlight on the Songwriter

BMI held its September Acoustic Lounge showcase at Hotel Café in Los Angeles on September 11, featuring stirring performances of original music by a new crop of singer/songwriters including Chris Arena, Haddon Cord, ILKA, and Leyo. BMI’s Acoustic Lounge is a free monthly series that gives emerging songwriters an opportunity to showcase new music in an intimate setting, while interacting with fans and industry VIPs. Attendees are regularly treated to a great evening of new music, as well as firsthand accounts from the songwriters of the inspiration about each song.
