BMI’s Jomo & The Possum Posse helped kick off the opening reception at the National Restaurant Association’s “The Table 2024” event held July 23 at Brazo’s Hall in Austin. The Austin-based band performed songs from their newly released studio album Yesterday’s Coffee. The album, the band’s fourth, was produced by Austin icon Kevin Russell of Shinyribs and The Gourds and who was named 2024 Austin Musician of the Year.

The National Restaurant Association’s three-day educational conference is attended by restaurant professionals from across the country. Celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2019, the National Restaurant Association is the largest foodservice trade association in the world. Representing and advocating on behalf of the restaurant industry.
