BMI’s Samantha Cox Recognized at Variety’s “Power of Women New York”

BMI is very proud of VP, Creative, New York, Samantha Cox, who was honored Thursday afternoon at Variety’s “Power of Women New York” event, Presented by Lifetime, held at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. Cox was previously featured in Variety’s recent Women’s Impact Report, recognizing her achievements as a vital leader in BMI’s efforts in scouting and signing songwriters and publishers and providing showcase opportunities and other initiatives for our music creators.

Variety’s “Power of Women” event celebrated the women who made the Impact Report as well as the featured honorees including Brazilian singer/songwriter and BMI affiliate Anitta, plus producer/screenwriter Shonda Rhimes, actress Mariska Hargitay and comedian/actress Amy Schumer.
