Brian Tyler’s ‘Are We Dreaming’ Rocks Reality for 30,000 Fans
On Saturday, September 25, award-winning BMI composer Brian Tyler’s “Are We Dreaming,” a completely immersive audio-visual experience that explores the universe and our place in it, debuted live on the 400-foot main stage at Lost Lands Music Festival in a stunning two-hour midnight performance for a crowd of 30,000. The breathtaking show included massive 8K screens with lights, lasers, and visuals taking the audience on an explosive visual journey through space and time and encouraging spellbound spectators to experience the height of joy while discovering the meaning of self. The project, which has been described as a modern-day Fantasia crossed with the visual spectacle of cinematic films like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Blade Runner, draws upon Tyler’s vast experience as a film composer (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, among many others), as well as his electronic music artistry (Kill the Noise, Zedd).
