BMI’s Darlene Rosado was one of many who attended the National Alliance of State Broadcasters Association’s (NASBA) Fall Meeting reception during the NAB Radio Show in Austin, TX. The reception, held September 20, featured BMI songwriter Monte Warden, who performed “Desperately,” the hit song he co-wrote for George Strait, as well as other tunes penned for Carrie Underwood, Patti Loveless, George Jones, and Travis Tritt. The reception also honored Phil Roberts upon his retirement after almost 20 years as President & CEO of the New Jersey Broadcasters Association.
