Del Bryant to be Honored With Visionary Leadership Award
The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced that BMI President Del Bryant will be the second-ever recipient of the organization’s Visionary Leadership Award. This prestigious acknowledgement, which will be presented as part of the 45th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in New York City on June 12, recognizes those who have “made a significant contribution in furthering the ongoing mission of the organization and in elevating the Songwriters Hall of Fame to a level of prominence and distinction.”
“Born into songwriting royalty and a songwriter himself, Del has spent a lifetime championing songwriters,” said Linda Moran, President and CEO of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. “In the past decade, Del’s personal and professional contributions as a dedicated Senior Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Songwriters Hall of Fame have enabled us to achieve our early goals and to continue to expand the ongoing mission of the organization.”
Bryant’s career in the music industry has spanned more than four decades, ten of which have been spent as BMI’s President and CEO, where he has worked tirelessly for songwriters of all genres. His leadership has helped the Company become a global brand in music rights management, promoting the value of music and its creators worldwide.
