BMI songwriter and recording artist Chris Janson delivered a powerful performance at the Illinois Broadcasters Association Annual Silver Dome Awards Dinner, held recently (6/18) at the iHotel in Champaign. Janson, known for his Top 40 Country smash “Better I Don’t,” entertained radio and television executives from across the state with his unique showmanship and impressive harmonica playing. The Missouri native has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry more than 40 times, has written hit songs for artists such as Tim McGraw (“Truck Yeah”), and has shared the stage with the likes of Hank Williams, Jr. and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
