Eminem Leads BMI Wins at 2010 American Music Awards

Eminem added two more wins to his already long list of career accolades during the fan-voted American Music Awards, broadcast live on ABC Sunday, November 21. With trophies for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Male Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album (Recovery), the hip-hop icon underscored his undeniable staying power. The Black Eyed Peas’ world domination was recognized with the Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo or Group win, while Taylor Swift capped off another trophy-laden award season with the Favorite Country Music Female Artist win.

Lady Gaga was named Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, and Rihanna earned the same honor in the Soul/R&B field. Breakout trio Lady Antebellum took home Favorite Country Music Band, Duo or Group, and Carrie Underwood earned Favorite Country Music Album for Play On. Shakira charmed fans as the Favorite Latin Artist, while the resounding success of Glee manifested in a Glee: The Music, Volume 3 The Showstoppers Favorite Soundtrack win.
