On Wednesday, November 16, the participants of BMI’s all-female song camp, “El Camp: Las Compositoras,” gathered in Las Vegas for the first iteration of “El Demo,” a private listening session with industry executives to showcase the music created at the camp by songwriters Silvana De Cajiao, Ivonne Galaz, Angelica Gallegos, Lupita Infante, Victoria La Mala, Adriana Ríos, Nancy Sanchez and Lili Zetina. Hosted by “Las Compositoras” founder and BMI songwriter Erika Vidrio, the most recorded female artist in the regional Mexican genre, with the support of Amazon Music and Gibson. BMI’s Jesus Gonzalez and Teresa Romo were on hand to help celebrate.
