House Members Continue to Rally Support for Songwriters

Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-40) (@RepRoybalAllard) has joined her Democratic colleague Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries) and the growing list of co-sponsors of H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. This bill, reintroduced by Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins) on March 4, continues to garner attention from Members of Congress who recognize the need to speak up on behalf of their songwriter constituents. Congresswoman Roybal-Allard serves on the House Appropriations Committee and is a member of the Creative Rights Caucus, as well as Senior Whip for the House Democrats.
