Indie Spotlight: Cosmos & Creature
The stars aligned in 2016 for independent artists, Molly Moore and Brandyn Burnette (aka EMAN8), when they came together to form pop duo Cosmos & Creature, a name that came about after “looking up at the sky and contemplating our place as human beings in the universe.” The LA-based pair released their first single, “Young,” to viral success after receiving support from both Spotify and Apple Music. The single peaked at #1 on the global viral charts and led C&C to open for John Mayer, Dua Lipa, and Jesse McCartney. Their latest single, “I Am Free,” was premiered by AT&T and now has over 9 million streams on Spotify and over 1 million views on Facebook.
With 100 million collective streams between their projects, the two continue to define their progressive pop sound while writing and producing for other artists including Backstreet Boys, EXO, and Jesse McCartney. Cosmos & Creature recently played sold-out shows at The Roxy and The Troubador in Los Angeles and ended 2018 as openers for Bebe Rexha’s show at iHeartRadio Theater in NYC.
