Indie Spotlight Decade Rewind: Of Monsters and Men

Posted in News on November 12, 2020

Since their first Indie Spotlight appearance in 2012, Of Monsters and Men have gone from “Little Talks” to huge success. Their debut EP, Into the Woods, introduced the world to the Icelandic folk-pop band, and their first full-length album, My Head is an Animal, peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 upon its release (it also peaked at #1 in Australia and Ireland). They’ve released two more LPs since their debut: Beneath the Skin in 2015 and Fever Dream in 2019, and their songs have been featured on soundtracks to TV shows and films like The Walking Dead, Jessica Jones, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Of Monsters and Men have released two singles—“Circles” and “Visitor”—this year, the latter of which is among their top streaming songs.
