Atlanta soul musician Curtis Harding’s debut, Soul Power, powerfully connects with anyone searching for meaning. The reverb-drenched lyrics on top of steady beats and an electric guitar wail bring the listener deep into the music’s story. Harding’s own story is as compelling. His childhood was spent as a gospel singer, traveling with his evangelizing mother, before settling in Atlanta, where he backed CeeLo Green and took on projects with the Black Lips’ Cole Alexander. Now, his traveling days are back in full swing, with Harding touring and singing gospel, the backbone of genres such as blues, country, soul and R&B, with his unique, unifying sound.
