Indie Spotlight: Everything Everything
Everything Everything fuse falsetto three-part harmonies, post-punk guitars, dance basslines and synths and clattering, syncopated rhythms, squeezing it all into ambitious arrangements that prompted NME to praise the band’s live show as “baffling, bizarre, beautiful and bawdy prog-pop.” “MY KZ, UR BF,” released in October 2009, was both Zane Lowe’s Hottest Track in the World and Record of the Week, and has since been hailed as one of the best singles of the year. After a third UK tour, culminating with a sold-out show at London’s ICA, the group is preparing for slots at SXSW and a full-scale European tour.
