Indie Spotlight: Heypenny

Fresh off a stint opening for pop superstar Ke$ha, playing for 2,000+ at the Florida Music Festival, playing Bonnaroo in 2009 and headlining Next Big Nashville for a capacity crowd, Heypenny has honed and perfected their craft. The group’s must-see live show is expanding their already devoted fanbase, and album Use These Spoons made waves in the blogosphere and garnered accolades for its pop-infused balance of rhythm, harmony, and DIY brilliance. Ultimately, the all pressings of the limited release were sold. Heypenny is currently finishing up their follow-up to Use These Spoons, which will be released in 2010.
