Jason Aldean and BMI Celebrate the Songwriters of His 3 #1 Hits

Nashville’s City Winery venue was filled with music industry executives, family and friends of the songwriters responsible for BMI affiliate Jason Aldean’s incredible run of consecutive #1 hits. BMI songwriters Rodney Clawson, Tyler Hubbard and Brain Kelly, along with Chris Tompkins, penned the smash “Burnin’ It Down,” white chart toppers “Just Getting’ Started,” written by BMI songwriter Rhett Akins and songwriters Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley, and “Tonight Looks Good On You” by BMI songwriters Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins with Ashley Gorely, were also celebrated. The trio of tunes are off Jason Aldean’s 2014 album Old Boots, New Dirt, a #1 Billboard 200 debut. Fans of all three of the hits can catch Aldean on tour for the next two months while he crisscrosses the United States through October.
