Los Compositores Songwriting Contest Call for Entries

BMI is a proud sponsor of the 7th annual Los Compositores Songwriting Contest. The competition has welcomed more than 7,000 submissions since its inception in 2002, and the 2010 installment promises to yield another auspicious batch.

Songwriters of all genres of Latin music are encouraged to submit. Entries will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. The first place winner will receive $3,000, second place earns $2,000, and third place will take home $1,000.

All entries must be postmarked before May 31, 2010.

To enter:

Songs should be submitted on a CD (preferable) or a cassette and may be a cappella or accompanied with music.
Please provide a written copy of lyrics with submissions.
Entry fee is $15 per song entered.
Each song entered requires its own entry form.
Payment should be made via check or money order to: Los Compositores
