‘Newley Discovered’ Pays Tribute to BMI Great Anthony Newley
Hugh Sheridan will make his American debut in Newley Discovered, a musical dedicated to the life and legendary work of BMI songwriter Anthony Newley. The show is slated for 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 7 at Snapple Theatre (210 West 50th St) in New York City. Featuring music by Newley, as well as Leslie Bricusse and Lloyd Price, the performance will be a moving celebration of the late artist, songwriter, and actor, as well as an exciting introduction to Sheridan, one of Australia’s brightest young stars.
Proceeds from the show will benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS.
