“One More Day” Honored Once More

Posted in News on April 14, 2002

BMI writer Bobby Tomberlin and publisher Mike Curb Music recently received Million-Air certificates honoring one million plays of "One More Day," recorded by Diamond Rio. Co-written with Steven Jones, the song won a 2001 BMI Country Award and is nominated for Single of the Year and Song of the Year at the ACM Awards in May. It was previously nominated as the CMA's Song of the Year (2001) and the Grammy's Best Country Song (2002). Based on an average length of three minutes, one million airplays is the equivalent of 50,000 hours or 5.7 years of continuous airplay.
