Songwriter Equity Act Finds Further Support in the House

Congressman Tony Cardenas (D-CA) (@RepCardenas) has signed on as a co-sponsor of H.R. 4079, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2014. The bill, which was introduced in February by Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA) (@RepDougCollins), continues to gain the support of Congressional members from around the country. Cardenas serves on the House Natural Resources Committee, the House Budget Committee, and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Hailing from the San Fernando Valley, Cardenas is also an active Member of the Creative Rights Caucus (@RespectCreators) in the House of Representatives. Learn more here about this legislation.
