Songwriter Equity Act Gains Support From Representative David N. Cicilline

Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI-1) (@davidcicilline) has joined as co-sponsor of H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015, which was reintroduced by Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins) in March. The lead Democratic co-sponsor, Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries), and Cicilline, along with Collins, all serve on the House Judiciary Committee, and their support is welcome news to BMI affiliates in Rhode Island and nationwide.
