BMI songwriter Kimberly Henderson stopped by the Company’s New York office to meet with the Writer-Publisher Relations staff. Henderson’s songwriting career was catapulted into the spotlight when she posted a video of herself on YouTube singing her year-old daughter to sleep with Sam Smith’s slowed-down and soulful arrangement of “How Will I Know,” initially made famous by Whitney Houston. The video went viral, and has more than 22 million views to date across social media. Cosco Kids, in partnership with Magic Bean Creative, flew Henderson to Los Angeles for a recording session with Break Entertainment, where she recorded the new pop ballad “Tiny Hearts.” For more information on Henderson’s amazing story, watch the journey on YouTube.
