Songwriters-in-the-Round: Chart-Toppers to Feature Top Hit-Makers at Grammy Museum in L.A. Oct. 15

A collection of today’s top songwriters and producers will perform and share the stories behind their hit songs at Songwriters-in-the Round: Chart-Toppers, presented by the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) at the Clive Davis Theater in the Grammy Museum on Monday, October 15. Dan Wilson (Adele, Dixie Chicks, Semisonic), Greg Kurstin (Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Lily Allen), Evan Bogart (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sean Kingston), Tim Pagnotta (Neon Trees, Kris Allen, Sugarcult) and Rodney Jerkins (Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé) will participate in the unique event, which will be moderated by Billboard’s Senior Correspondent Phil Gallo.

In 2010, the Songwriters Hall of Fame first partnered with the Grammy Museum to present the Songwriters Hall of Fame Gallery, a compilation of video highlights from annual SHOF Awards & Induction Dinners as well as interesting bits of information on SHOF inductees and honorees. The first Songwriting Legends-in-the-Round was also presented that year, and the chemistry and historic value of the gathering ensured that it would become an annual event.

Songwriters-in-the-Round promises to please aspiring songwriters, established hit-makers and anyone with an interest in the music industry. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Grammy Museum’s educational programs.
