Speed Dating for Songwriters® a Hit at BMI London
A year after it was first introduced in our London office, BMI’s U.K. team hosted another fantastic “Speed Dating for Songwriters®.” A popular event in BMI’s Nashville, LA and New York offices, the gathering enables 12 to 15 participants to meet, get acquainted, and listen to each other’s music with the aim of fostering creative collaboration among some of the most promising songwriters, producers, and artists. Always receiving positive feedback, previous events have enabled attendees to work on EP projects, sessions, and other endeavors while developing professional friendships. Participants this time included Benedict Cork, Matt Rist, Hannah Beighton, George Rose, Josh Wheatley, Ranaturelle, Karl Addy, B Croma (Marco and Rocco), Ed Shaw, Naomi Banks, Brendan Aherne, Fia Moon, and RUE.
