Sundance Roundtable Composer of the Day: Blake Neely

Blake Neely is an award-winning composer and Sundance Institute advisor. He is currently scoring CW’s hit series Arrow and CBS’s The Mentalist. Upcoming projects include ABC’s Resurrection and CNN’s 10-part documentary series The Sixties. He has received three Emmy Award nominations: one in 2012 for his score to ABC’s Pan Am, one in 2010 for his score to the acclaimed HBO mini-series The Pacific and the third in 2003 for his main title theme for the series Everwood. Neely’s composing credits include the feature films Life As We Know It, Space Shuttle Columbia: Mission of Hope, The Great Buck Howard, Starter for Ten, The Wedding Date, Elvis & Anabelle, Magnificent Desolation: Walking On The Moon and First Daughter. His numerous television credits include the series Golden Boy, Brothers & Sisters, No Ordinary Family, Eastwick, Eli Stone, Jack & Bobby, and many others. The Case Against 8
