BMI recently welcomed singer/songwriter Travis Meadows to its growing family. The Universal Music Publishing staff writer has turned heads with his roots and blues, country-fringed edge. Artist Adam Brand took the Meadows-penned “Open Ended Heartache” to the top of the Australian charts, and Travis released a new album, My Life 101, in early 2007.

Travis Meadows will play the Billy Block Show October 30 at 10pm to help kick off the Americana Music Festival and Conference. For more information on Travis, visit www.myspace.com/travismeadowsmusic.
