Want to Learn How to Write a Hit Song?

The eight-week BMI Songwriting Workshop taught by renowned BMI songwriter Billy Seidman begins September 25, 2013, in BMI’s New York office at the World Trade Center. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 6. This FREE workshop is designed to help writers polish their skills by focusing on lyric writing, music composition and song structure, music theory, production/arrangement techniques, and a basic overview of song publishing, all of which contribute to writing a hit song. This class will feature invaluable constructive feedback and stimulating assignments and comes with rave reviews by past participants.

Billy Seidman’s songwriting career includes staff writing positions at Sony/ATV/Tree Publishing in Nashville and Careers/BMG Publishing in New York. He has had recordings by Gold and Platinum artists Irene Cara, Vicki Sue Robinson and Evelyn “Champagne” King and is currently signed to Carlin America Music Publishing.
