Year in Review: Indie 2014
It’s been an incredible year for Broadcast Music, Inc.’s indie bands! From kicking off the festival season at South by Southwest to rocking the crowds at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, the indie bands gave phenomenal performances on BMI stages across the United States. In addition to memorable live music, BMI’s indies were busy in the studio as well, with new stars Hozier and Banks crafting flawless first albums to break them onto the scene, while heavy-hitters Interpol and Jack White kept the top tracks coming on their newest releases.
