BMI hosted “Breakfast with BMI” on Friday, October 19 at BMI’s Los Angeles offices, welcoming executives from Universal Publishing Production Music, Killer Tracks, and FirstCom. Leading the discussion was BMI’s SVP Performing Rights, Alison Smith, who covered topics relating to the dynamics of how BMI and production companies work together to meet their collective goals.
Composers Jay Vincent and Frederik Wiedmann, seen here with BMI’s David Bills, paid a visit to the BMI NYC offices while they were in town to attend the Comic Con Panel, "Setting The Score: Composing For Film & Television." The panelists discussed the process of scoring science fiction, fantasy, and horror scenes for both film and television.
