August xx, 2017 – (Nashville, Tenn.) – Broadcast Music, Inc.®, (BMI®), the global leader in music rights management, will return to LouFest with co-sponsor Tunespeak to showcase a brand-new lineup of the industry’s hottest up-and-comers on September 9-10 in St. Louis. In its fifth year at the festival and the second year in partnership with Tunespeak, the BMI stage has become a LouFest staple and acts such as COIN, Wild Cub and GRAMMY-nominated Anderson .Paak have pushed the stage to the forefront of the festival.
“BMI is excited to continue our partnership with Tunespeak for another year of incredible performances on our stage,” said Mason Hunter, BMI’s Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships & Events. “We are so proud to be back in St. Louis to showcase such unbelievable talent. Our festival stages have become fan-favorites and a hotbed of discovery for rising talent.”
This year’s stage features St. Louis native Chris Bandi, an exciting newcomer in Nashville who is embracing diversity in country music. The stage is rounded out by Nashville garage rocker Ron Gallo, singer-songwriter Jess Nolan, alternative hip hop artist Lizzo, and others.
“Tunespeak is a St. Louis company and we’re thrilled to be working with BMI and LouFest again to present such amazing talent to our hometown,” said Tunespeak CEO, Tom Pernikoff. “Anderson .Paak on our stage last year was the highlight for many LouFest goers and we’re eager to recreate that energy this year.”
