The BMI Icon Award will be presented to multiple award-winning songwriter/rapper/producer and actor Busta Rhymes at the 2022 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards at The LIV Nightclub Miami Beach in Miami, FL. Busta will receive this honor in recognition of his outstanding career achievements, countless contributions and his catalog of music which spans over three decades.
This invitation-only event will also honor the songwriters, producers and music publishers of the past year’s 35 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs of the previous year, as well as the R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, Producer and Publisher of the Year will be recognized.
