BMI Congratulates its 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductees and Honorees

The Songwriters Hall of Fame held its 48th Annual Induction & Awards Gala on June 15 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, and, once again, BMI affiliates took top honors. 2006 BMI Icon and storied R&B songwriter Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds was inducted, Pitbull became the first-ever recipient of the Global Ambassador Award, renowned film composer and 2008 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Alan Menken received the Johnny Mercer Award and Ed Sheeran (PRS) accepted the Hal David Starlight Award.
