BMI Congratulates its 2019 Drama Desk Award Nominees

BMI is proud to congratulate David Yazbek, who has been nominated for two 2019 Drama Desk Awards: Outstanding Music and Outstanding Lyrics for his work in Tootsie. The tremendously popular Tootsie is also up for Outstanding Musical, as well as several other accolades.

In addition to Yazbek, BMI affiliate Elaine May is also up for Outstanding Actress in a Play for her work in The Waverly Gallery. The winners of the prestigious accolades will be announced at the 64th annual ceremony to take place at NYC’s Town Hall on June 2. Good luck to both of you!
