BMI’S Next Big Wave Mixer Sparks New Songwriter Connections

BMI welcomed more than 80 affiliates to the lobby of its Nashville office on Tuesday, April 1, to offer an exclusive networking opportunity for songwriters in Music City seeking a first-time publishing deal.
Hosted by BMI’s Leslie Roberts, she introduced the evening’s speaker Warner Chappell hitmaker Heath Warren, who co-wrote Bailey Zimmerman’s No. One song “Rock And A Hard Place,” to share words of encouragement. Sponsored by Studio Bank, BMI’s Nashville Creative team was on site to offer guidance and connect with emerging songwriters who enjoyed food and beverages during the evening. Past notable participants include HARDY, Jon Langston, Michael Ray, Mikey Reaves, Rocky Block and many more.
