BMI’s Anne Cecere, Jerry Hannan and music supervisor Allison Wright Clark grin for the camera at An Evening with Jerry Hannan, hosted by Sean Penn & Steven Wiig on Wednesday, May 6 in Los Angeles. In addition to composing “Society,” which was recorded by Eddie Vedder and featured in Penn’s film Into the Wild, Hannan wrote and performed the original song "Got It Goin' On" for the film Tell-Tale, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was supervised by Clark. Hannan will also release a new album June 5.
