BMI Throws a Big Green Party for ‘Big Green Tractor’ - September 2009
Music Row revelers rallied around a large piece of farm equipment parked in front of BMI on Tuesday, September 29 to celebrate the chart-topping success of Jason Aldean’s “Big Green Tractor.” Co-written by BMI hit-maker Jim Collins and David Lee Murphy and co-published by Cal IV Music Publishing, the song dominated the country charts for four consecutive weeks, and became the first country single to top Billboard’s all-genre Ringscan chart.
