Atlanta Celebrates the Immortal Otis Redding The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta recently hosted “An Evening of Respect: A Musical Tribute to the Immortal Otis Redding.” The event, sponsored by BMI, served as a benefit for The Big “O” Youth Educational Dream Foundation, which is directed by the late Redding’s wife Zelma and supports the Otis Redding Singer/Songwriter Camp, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and scholarships for students at Mercer University Law School.
