Doc Pomus Works Awarded Million-Air Certificates

January 8, 2010 BMI presented Million-Air certificates to singer/songwriter Doc Promus’ daughter, Sharyn Felder, and son, Geoffrey Felder, recognizing their fathers’ compositions that have reached more than one million performances: “Save the Last Dance for Me” and “This Magic Moment” have both earned more than 6 million performances, while “Can’t Get Used to Losing You,” “Suspicion,” “Little Sister,” and “ A Teenager in Love” have each earned more than 2 million performances. 2010 marks the 50th anniversary of “Save the Last Dance for Me” reaching #1 on the Top 100 Singles Billboard Charts.
