Toby Keith and Mark Wright Add Trace Adkins to Show Dog-Universal
The teaming of titans Toby Keith and Trace Adkins sent waves of anticipation throughout the music industry on Wednesday, January 13, as BMI hosted a press conference during which Keith and Mark Wright of Show Dog-Universal Music unveiled Keith’s fellow platinum-selling country star Adkins as the newly formed label’s first addition to the roster. Universal Records South merged with Keith’s indie Show Dog Records in December 2009.
